You want to make a difference. And you’re well-equipped to do so, as you have your own unique and socially relevant perspective on culture and art (history). A perspective that speaks on behalf of and to a segment of society that is underrepresented in the world of heritage and museums, both in terms of what is exhibited and for whom it is exhibited. You are aware of your target audience, current events, and recent developments, as well as the importance of diversity, and with this in mind, you are intrinsically motivated to contribute to the world of art and culture. Whether you are a designer, playwright, journalist, scientist, scholar, or expert in any field or profession, you are a creative person with ideas, as well as the network and practical skills to contribute to creating an exhibition both independently and in collaboration with others.
Does that sound like you? Then this project is right up your alley: from February through November 2024, H’ART Museum is looking fortwo narrative developers forthe upcoming Kandinsky exhibition. The two selected themes are “Kandinsky and music” and “Kandinsky the traveler,” but you might surprise us with an even better idea.

H’ART Museum is preparing for its first exhibition in collaboration with one of its international museum partners, the Centre Pompidou in Paris: Kandinsky (open from mid-June to November 3, 2024). H’ART Museum strives to touch the hearts of new audiences and seeks to connect with today’s society through a multifaceted exploration and presentation of historical and contemporary art. To that end, H’ART Museum collaborates with constantly evolving teams of curators, specialized guest curators, and, as of now, narrative developers. As our narrative developer for the Kandinsky exhibition, you will be responsible for the following:

You will be working at H’ART Museum—previously known as Hermitage Amsterdam until September 1, 2023.
