Net in Nederland is the NPO’s online platform for and by newcomers. Net in Nederland helps newcomers find their way in Dutch society. The stories cover history, culture, and society. Net in Nederland publishes these stories in Dutch, Arabic, and Ukrainian. We are currently seeking a:Social Media Editor (Ukrainian) (m/f/x)
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Manage Net in the Netherlands Ukraine’s social media accounts and provide content that reflects current events and resonates with our target audience;
- Produce videos, Reels, and articles, and share them in an accessible way on Instagram and Telegram;
- Developing and managing your own content calendar;
- Staying in touch with our followers on social media.
This is you:
- Familiar with the Ukrainian community in the Netherlands;
- Excellent command of the Ukrainian language, both spoken and written;
- Proficiency in Dutch at a minimum C1 level;
- Experience with social media;
- An expert on the best times of day to publish content;
- Connected to your target audience: you know who they are, where they are, and how to engage and serve them with relevant content;
- Skilled in creating video content for social media;
- Proven experience with programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop;
Here's what we offer:
A contract through December 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade F (€2,711.87 – €3,988.60) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for broadcasting staff.
As an NTR employee, you’ll receive benefits including a 6% December bonus, 8% vacation pay, a travel allowance, over 5 weeks of annual leave, annual salary increases, a group pension plan, and a monthly contribution toward your health insurance.
You’ll also have an independent role where, in consultation, you’ll be given plenty of freedom and flexibility to organize your workdays. Of course, you’ll be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are happy to help you with this.
