As a Senior Training and Development Specialist, you play a key role in how the industry addresses these challenges. You have a direct impact on—and make a visible contribution to—the future of work and skilled labor in the hospitality industry.You effortlessly balance bringing our training and development policies to life across our business units while also firmly establishing training and development as a priority within the organization. You provide substantive input to the board and ensure that training and development remain on the agenda, including by participating in relevant advisory bodies and working groups.
With your experience in policy development and (vocational) education, are you able to implement and promote our policies within the hospitality sector? In addition, can you steer this policy, build bridges, and foster connections between education, the labor market (employers and employees), and advocacy, thereby strengthening the position of employees? Can you promote the sustainable recruitment, advancement, and retention of skilled professionals? And can you ensure that training and development are structurally embedded in collective bargaining agreements, sectoral agreements, and the strategy of De Horecabond? In a leadership role, you will ensure continuity, accessibility, and knowledge development. You will be part of the CBB (Collective Advocacy) team and will work closely with colleagues, your manager, and the Marketing & Communications and Operations departments. You will report substantively to the board, which has ultimate responsibility for the organization’s direction and policy frameworks.
You are passionate about building relationships, connecting people, learning, professional development, and the job market. You have strong organizational skills! You are a team player, results-oriented, self-reliant, analytical, and an excellent communicator.
