Senior Marketing and Communications Consultant

To make the right choices regarding our positioning and branding, we are therefore seeking a senior marketer and communications advisor—an experienced strategist with extensive knowledge of the marketing field.

What does your day look like?

• You will develop strategic and innovative marketing and communication plans for various projects and implement them with your team;
• You advise program managers, project leaders, or partners on appropriate, creative, and innovative ideas, both online and offline;
• As a marketing expert, you use your expertise to advise your colleagues in the department on organization-wide issues;
• You base this recommendation on research and data (regarding the behavior) of the target audience;
• You will work with an online content manager to prepare monthly marketing reports for the organization.

Your profile

• You have a college-level education and possess the necessary skills and mindset, and you have completed a relevant degree program;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in marketing and have been professionally involved in strategic marketing and communication issues, either in a knowledge/network organization or in a political-administrative setting;
• You are a team player who is committed to achieving the best results;
• You’re not afraid of a little headwind and know how to navigate a complex environment;
• You have experience with and knowledge of data-driven (online) marketing and communication.

The team

The PR, Marketing & Communications (PRMC) department is responsible for Pharos’s internal and external (online) communications and marketing. We operate at the corporate level and support the substantive programs by providing advice and implementing initiatives. We are also involved in Public Affairs. The department currently has 11 employees. In addition, we regularly collaborate with freelancers.

• Pharos adheres to the Mental Health Care Collective Bargaining Agreement. The position is classified in pay grade 60, which ranges from €4,108 to €5,335 based on a 36-hour workweek. Pay is determined based on experience;
• An 8% vacation bonus and an 8.33% year-end bonus;
• Remote work: At Pharos, we work from home an average of 50% of the time. You will receive a travel allowance and a work-from-home allowance;
• A net phone allowance of €25 per month for employees working 24 hours or more per week.

The position is generally for 24 hours per week. You will initially be offered a one-year contract, which will be converted to a permanent contract if both parties are satisfied.
