
Do you have experience with (online) communication and PR strategies? Do you know how to effectively communicate complex social issues—such as freedom and the legacy of World War II—while being sensitive to people’s feelings? If so, we’re looking for you.
For more than 35 years, the National Committee has been dedicated to commemorating, celebrating, and keeping alive the memory of World War II. Among other things, we organize the National Remembrance Ceremony on Dam Square on May 4 and the National Liberation Celebration on May 5, featuring the May 5 Lecture, Freedom Dinners, 14 Liberation Festivals, and the May 5 Concert. In addition, we develop campaigns and educational projects and conduct research on how people commemorate and experience freedom.
As a senior communications advisor, you will be responsible for public communications and PR related to the National Committee’s projects, working alongside your colleagues in the Communications Department. In this temporary role:
You are a strategic, creative communications consultant with a keen sense of social issues and a sharp eye for media and PR. You switch easily between projects, enjoy working with others, and take the initiative.
