You are the linchpin of the Vliegwiel program. You’ll build new relationships and collaborate with our coalition partners to achieve our goal: helping more and more people experience the benefits of hybrid care, such as tele-coaching. In addition, you’ll serve as project lead for the various subprojects within the program. You may also be assigned to other projects. As the program manager’s right-hand person, you’ll help shape the direction and strategy of the Vliegwiel and turn ideas into concrete projects and actions.
All of this takes shape in the following activities:
The widespread adoption and scaling up of hybrid care is a key component of the Integral Care Agreement. The IZA identifies the Flywheel as an initiative that can continue to contribute to a positive innovation and transformation ecosystem in the coming years. The Flywheel for digital transformation in healthcare aims to ensure that many more people can experience the benefits of high-quality hybrid care. We are a patient- and client-driven coalition of and for practice, in which we collaborate with healthcare administrators and providers, suppliers of digital resources, health insurers, and, of course, patients (and their representatives). We have an action-oriented and decisive program team that supports coalition partners in utilizing and scaling up hybrid care. For now, the focus is on tele-coaching, medication dispensers, and smart sensors/lifestyle monitoring. In the coming period, we will determine whether we will help scale up additional innovations within the context of IZA. Key themes for the coming years will include: networked care, patient self-management, hybrid care pathways, and engaging end-users.
The Vliegwiel program team currently consists of a (part-time) program manager, two communications advisors, and five (part-time) project leaders/advisors. For the coming years, we are looking to expand our team with a senior patient advocacy advisor who will take on the role of project leader within Vliegwiel. Within our organization, your position will be part of the Digital Care team.
The role of Senior Patient Advocacy Advisor offers a great deal of variety within an engaging organization staffed by dedicated individuals. At the strategic and tactical levels, you will contribute to shaping the direction and work plan for 2023 and beyond. At the operational level, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and concluding meetings. In addition, you will serve as the linchpin of the program team and help build collaboration within the coalition. We are looking for:
In short, you’ll help ensure that more patients can experience the benefits of hybrid care. We offer a dynamic role within a socially relevant organization—one where you can further develop your skills in substantive, strategic, and political areas, and build a valuable network within the healthcare sector.
You’ll find an inspiring team of colleagues where employees and managers work together in a casual yet professional manner. There’s plenty of room for initiative and personal growth.
We offer flexible working hours. So this isn’t a job where you necessarily have to work strictly “9 to 5.”
We operate on a hybrid model: the Flywheel Team holds in-person meetings on Thursdays, and the Digital Care Team has a regular team day at the office on Tuesdays. The rest of the time, you’re welcome to work from home. We’ll do our best to support you in this. Our office has also been updated to meet today’s standards.
Depending on your education and experience, the salary is up to €5,356.00 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek (Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, Scale 11). You will initially be offered a one-year employment contract with the possibility of renewal.
The Dutch Patient Federation offers excellent employment benefits, including an Individual Choice Budget and a career budget. The Individual Choice Budget is a fund that you can use as you see fit—whether to have it paid out or to purchase additional leave hours, for example. You will also receive a work-from-home allowance and, if applicable, reimbursement for your commuting expenses.
Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, you are enrolled in the Healthcare and Welfare Pension Fund.
