As a Senior Account Manager on our Partnerships & Sponsorship team, you’ll play a key role in further developing our partner network. You’ll be responsible for acquiring new partners, as well as maintaining and expanding existing relationships. With your experience, you know how to take partnerships to the next level and how to best position our organization in the market. Acquiring new partners:You proactively reach out to potential partners, conduct negotiations, and develop customized sponsorship proposals that align with their goals and our strategy;
Strategic Relationship Management:You don’t just sit back and wait. On the contrary, you actively build relationships. You immerse yourself in their world, interests, and needs, and align them with our organization’s goals. Your proactive approach fosters strategic partnerships. You ensure optimal collaboration and maximize value for both parties;
Developing and refining strategic, high-impact sponsorship proposals: Youcreate and refine sponsorship proposals that are well-thought-out and effective. These proposals must align with the organization’s broader goals and deliver significant value to both the sponsor and the organization.
A challenging full-time position (38 hours per week, 1 FTE) for 12 months, with the option to extend
Pay scale 12 under the collective bargaining agreement for the sports sector
Year-end bonus under the sports collective bargaining agreement

College-level academic and intellectual ability
At least 7 years of experience in account or partnership management, preferably in the sports or events industry.
Proven experience in recruiting major partners and managing strategic partnerships
Proven experience in developing major (innovative) commercial propositions
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate at the C-level
Strategic and conceptual thinking:You have a clear vision of how our partnerships contribute holistically to the ambitions and goals of TeamNL and NOC*NSF. You take a broad, strategic view and identify long-term opportunities within partnerships;
Results-oriented:You work with a clear focus on achieving commercial goals and results. You excel at identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities;
Networking and relationship management:You build relationships quickly and effectively and know how to maintain them over the long term;
Strong communication skills and persuasive:You have a professional demeanor and know how to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
