Cordaan is an ambitious healthcare organization in Amsterdam that is fully committed to leveraging the potential of technological innovations. This allows us to support both our clients and our employees, and ensures that their lives and work become easier, safer, and better. Based on this strategic pillar, the IT department is looking for an experienced Scrum Master.
The terms of employment for the Scrum Master position are in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement, FWG 55. We also offer:
At Cordaan, we believe it’s important for you to be yourself and continue to grow. For example, through targeted training, courses, and professional development programs, including those offered by Good Habitz.
You will serve as a Scrum Master for two Scrum teams working on low-code/no-code platforms, spending half your time with the development team for our data and BI platform (based on Snowflake and Tableau) and the other half with the development team for our service automation platform and its associated real estate/facilities platform (based on Freshworks and Axxerion).
You are a process facilitator who guides teams in working according to the Scrum methodology. You ensure that teams can perform their work optimally and coach them toward a culture of accountability, giving feedback, and mutual trust. In this way, you remove barriers for developers by liaising with (internal and external) suppliers, among other things. You are sharp, and your keen observation skills enable you to ask the right question at the right time. You know when to take the lead and when to coach your team to operate autonomously. You play a key role in the team’s ability to continuously improve. You can effectively manage dependencies between teams, including those outside the department, and you proactively support the product owners in this regard.
The ICT department works closely with the various healthcare sectors to determine how technology can best be used to address challenges and free up more time and attention for client care. All of this is done in accordance with standards for privacy protection and information security (NEN7510). Projects include, for example, the introduction of new platforms as well as exciting innovations such as robotics, AI, and healthcare automation.
You are a facilitative and collaborative leader who coaches development teams using Agile methods. You understand what it takes to build a high-performing team, and through your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills, you are able to guide the teams toward the desired culture.
You also have:
