As a Sales Consultant, you are the driving force behind acquiring new clients. You play a crucial role in shaping and implementing Great Place To Work’s commercial strategy and the policies that stem from it. You are the face of Great Place To Work and the first point of contact for new clients. As a self-starter, you use your commercial drive to get people excited about and convinced of our mission. Your schedule is always full.
You know better than anyone how to convey what it’s like to work at a great place. You engage with clients at the HR, management, and executive levels. In these conversations, you know how to identify their true needs by asking the right questions, tailor your proposal accordingly, and close the deal.
As the face of Great Place To Work, you enjoy being in the spotlight and get excited about participating in webinars or external events. Working remotely comes naturally to you, since many of your interactions will take place via video calls.
You’re also driven to take Great Place To Work’s commercial operations to the next level and take a leading role in new business development. You’ll work closely with our commercial director and—because we believe that sales and marketing go hand in hand—our marketing colleagues. Through this collaboration, you’ll optimize the sales funnel and leverage HubSpot (our marketing automation tool) to your advantage.
Your primary responsibility is to help organizations ranging in size from 250 to 100,000 employees find the right fit. You always strive to understand the needs of the person you’re speaking with and tailor your proposal accordingly. You do this by leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our various packages and services, your sales skills, and your clear communication.
You walk into your home office or the Oceans office, make a cup of coffee or tea, and greet your colleagues (online or in person). Then you have an online introductory meeting with the HR Director of an insurance company with 800 employees to discuss their specific needs for working with Great Place To Work. She is enthusiastic about the solution offered. After this conversation, you draft a proposal, send it right away, and schedule a follow-up meeting.
That afternoon, you’ll team up with a marketing colleague to optimize a workflow in HubSpot. The key question: how can we increase the conversion rate for clients of a certain organizational size? After that, you’ll prepare for tomorrow morning’s meeting with the CEO and HR Manager of an IT company with 140 employees, and continue working on the new webinar you’ll be presenting on the six most frequently asked questions prior to a Great Place To Work program.
You wrap up your workday by responding to incoming emails and preparing for tomorrow morning’s internal meeting.
As a Great Place to Work, we’re convinced of one thing: our For All model works. We all know the statistics on the benefits of a diverse team. Don’t see yourself in the photos on our team page? Don’t check all seven boxes? Great. Then we’re looking for you.
We fill 100% of our open positions with people who are different from us and bring a cultural perspective. That’s why our first conversation with each candidate focuses on this very topic. We’re looking for both visible and invisible differences, and right now we’re focusing a bit more explicitly on the visible ones—precisely because that’s where we don’t yet have the diversity we need.
So, apply. We look forward to your input and to getting to know the real you—regardless of background, race, age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or neurodiversity.
The secret to a successful organization? It’s not about salary, after-work drinks, or luxury ski trips. The secret is trust.
