Would you like to work alongside passionate colleagues to create a world where people and nature thrive? And help build a “nature-positive” impact in the world’s most biodiverse landscapes by mobilizing people? That’s what you’ll be doing when you work at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF NL).
The Public Sector Partnerships (PSP) & Foundations team within the Engagement department is looking for an experienced Foundations and Endowment Funds Relationship Manager who is committed to making the world a better place. If this sounds like you and you’re also looking for a new and inspiring work environment, then the position of Relationship Manager for Foundations and Endowment Funds at WWF-NL might be just the thing for you!
What will you be doing?
You will be joining the PSP & Foundations team, where we raise funds for WWF projects from government agencies, foundations, and endowment funds. As a relationship manager, you will work to secure funding for WWF projects from Dutch foundations and endowment funds. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining these relationships. You identify trends and opportunities within the sector and initiate new partnerships. You work closely with colleagues from other departments to develop compelling proposals for nature conservation projects (including budgets) that align with the donor’s wishes and requirements. In addition to drafting proposals, you are also responsible for ensuring that all relevant information is provided in a timely and efficient manner. You are also responsible for providing accurate technical and financial reports and evaluations to donors, which you prepare in collaboration with colleagues from other departments. You ensure that donors are and remain well-informed about the progress of supported projects.
Within the Public Sector Partnerships & Foundations team, we regularly share information and work together on projects, supporting one another as needed. As a Relationship Manager, you will report to the Head of Partnerships & Fundraising and work closely with colleagues from other teams within WWF-NL and the international WWF Network.
Who are you?
The role of Relationship Manager for Foundations and Endowment Funds is aimed at further developing and expanding the portfolio of foundations and endowment funds. To this end, it is important that you bring experience in account and relationship management with Dutch foundations and endowment funds. You understand the target group and its diversity. In addition, you excel at translating projects into substantively interesting and compelling proposals, which you develop and write both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. With your enthusiasm, energy, and drive to collaborate, you know how to engage and connect colleagues and other departments. Your focus allows you to set the right priorities and ensure the organization’s goals are met. Together with the team, you keep each other on track and support one another where needed. You are empathetic and have a good sense of interpersonal dynamics.
