Editor for the program *The Real Deal* on NPO Blend
KRO-NCRV is looking for an editor to work 16–20 hours per week for a new program, *The Real Deal*, on the radio station NPO BLEND. The BLEND radio station targets a slightly older audience and primarily plays soul, funk, and ’90s hip-hop. The program airs on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The program

The BLEND radio station targets a slightly older audience and primarily plays soul, funk, and ’90s hip-hop. The program airs on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The position
At the start of the weekend, we look ahead to the coming week with thought-provoking topics and engaging guests on the new radio station NPO BLEND. This radio program is produced by up-and-coming talent, supported by an experienced editor. You’ll be responsible for booking guests, conducting preliminary interviews, and developing a conversation framework with the best questions. You’ll also be present in the studio to manage the broadcast.
Who are we looking for?
That’s why we’re looking for someone who knows what’s going on in BLEND’s target audience and has a (growing) network of enthusiastic guests. You keep up with the day’s news and are also aware of the underlying issues. Together with the hosts, you can turn that into a great mix. You’re familiar with the radio studio and can bring listeners on the air.
In addition:
- You work well under pressure;
- You have a team-oriented attitude and a strong sense of responsibility;
- You are a team player and sociable both within KRO-NCRV and NPO BLEND;
- Learn how to create a fun audio montage.
- You will work on Thursdays (9 a.m.–5 p.m.) and on Saturday and Sunday mornings in Hilversum.
What do we offer?
We are offering a part-time position for 16–20 hours per week. Start date: preferably March 1.
In accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel, this position is classified in pay scale G. The salary depends on age and experience and ranges from €3,118.48 to €4,757.41 per month for a full-time position of 36 hours per week.
