Project Coordinator, SER Diversity in the Workplace

As a project support specialist, you will assist policy officers with various projects. You will spend most of your time working for SER Diversity in the Workplace. Through SER Diversity in the Workplace, we help organizations promote a diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment. We have a broad vision of diversity and focus on five dimensions: work capacity, cultural diversity, gender, age, and LGBTI+. In addition, you will be flexibly deployed as a project support specialist within the SER. In addition, you will be flexibly deployed as a project support specialist within the SER.

• You will help manage the database (CRM system) of Charter signatories.
• You organize meetings: you maintain contact with third parties, keep track of the schedule, manage the guest lists, and prepare reports.
• You will help write articles and content for the website, social media, and newsletter.

What are your skills?

• You work at the college level.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience.
• You have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• You have experience planning and organizing digital and in-person meetings with external parties and using a variety of meeting formats.
• You enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are skilled at maintaining verbal and written communication with external parties.
• You have strong digital skills (including Microsoft Teams, event software, and CRM systems).

What do we offer?

This is a position requiring a minimum of 28 hours and a maximum of 38 hours per week, initially for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position. Start date: as soon as possible. You will be working as a project support staff member in the “Labor Market” program.

About the SER

TheSocial and Economic Counciladvises the government and parliament on the broad outlines of socio-economic policy. The SER also facilitates agreements and covenants and carries out administrative tasks. Independent members appointed by the Crown, employers, and employees work together within the Council. Approximately 170 staff members work in the SER’s administrative organization.

SER staff work in a particularly dynamic environment. They operate in close proximity to the political sphere, collaborating with a wide range of civil society organizations that often have divergent interests. Policy analysts work in project teams to address current socioeconomic issues. The organization has an informal atmosphere and fosters a great deal of personal interaction.

About the Labor Market Program

You will be working in the Labor Market program. In this program, approximately 15 policy officers work enthusiastically together to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, advance the lifelong learning agenda, and develop SER recommendations on current issues related to the labor market and education.
