More than half of Dutch adults—9 million people—have one or more chronic conditions, most of which are lifestyle-related. Lifestyle changes can improve the health and quality of life of this large group of Dutch people. The Dutch Patient Federation is collaborating with TNO, the NFU (Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers), and the Association of Physicians & Lifestyle in the “Lifestyle in Healthcare Coalition” program.
