The Mondriaan Fund is the largest public fund for art and heritage in the Netherlands and operates on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the administrative process related to heritage grants runs smoothly and efficiently. You will do this by, among other things:
You will also be in frequent contact with applicants regarding the fund’s application opportunities. In addition, you will maintain a relevant national network. As a project officer, you are the indispensable link between the applicants, the Mondriaan Fund, and the advisors.

As a project assistant, you possess the analytical and critical thinking skills expected of a college graduate and bring relevant, valuable work experience to the role. You excel at analyzing information and can reason and write clearly and persuasively. You have strong interpersonal skills, communicate effectively in Dutch, and are also fluent in English.
As a heritage project assistant, you are drawn to the practical aspects of the heritage field both in the Netherlands and abroad, and you are familiar with current developments aimed at making the heritage sector more inclusive.
You will also work closely with your department head and colleagues in the administration, communications, finance, and legal departments.
