The Public & Information Department at the Centraal Museum is seeking an enthusiastic
Education & Interpretation Project Assistant
for a minimum of 16 hours per week, through June 30, 2023, in connection with the major exhibition *Bragging and Painting in Rome: The Bentvueghels *.
What are you going to do?
You will be responsible for implementing the educational program for the exhibition “Boasting and Painting in Rome: The Bentvueghels” from start to finish. This exhibition, which focuses on a unique social group in17th-century Rome—the Bentvueghels—will run from February 11 through June 4, 2023.
In close consultation with the project leader (senior curator) and project coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing educational programs for various target audiences in the lead-up to and during the exhibition, including lectures, workshops, theme weeks, and the development of the multimedia tour and video. In consultation with relevant internal colleagues, you will document the arrangements and keep the project group informed of progress. You will supervise the filming and review the final product for content.
You will also serve as the primary point of contact for the external editor who edits texts for the exhibition. You will write and edit texts for your colleagues in marketing and communications regarding the accompanying programs. In addition, you will monitor the established budget. After the exhibition concludes, you will provide input for the financial report to be submitted to the funding organizations.

Our terms of employment
Terms of employment in accordance with the Museum Collective Labor Agreement (CAO); salary: Scale 8 of the Museum CAO (salary level depends on education and experience: minimum €2,727 and maximum €3,489 gross based on a 36-hour workweek); pension plan administered by the ABP.
