In 2026, we will open our renovated and transparent building, which will connect the museum with its surroundings more than ever before. To support this exciting period and our museum’s growing ambitions, we are seeking a project manager to start on September 1.
As a project manager, you play a central role in bringing art projects, exhibitions, and presentations to life. You are part of the Public Engagement team and work closely with guest curators, management, and colleagues from other departments.
• You will oversee exhibitions from concept to evaluation.
• You will create schedules, manage budgets, and monitor agreements with suppliers, grant providers, and other stakeholders.
• You will coordinate internal and external communications related to exhibition projects.
• You will assist with grant applications.
• You motivate your colleagues and foster an inspiring and productive work environment.
• You will be closely involved in planning exhibition openings, setup, and takedown.
• At least 10 years of work experience in a similar position at museums, cultural institutions, or in the art world.
• You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• You are organized, methodical, and able to communicate clearly and confidently.
• You have a creative and innovative approach that aligns with the museum’s goals.
• A relevant and up-to-date network in the cultural sector.
• Experience with project-based work, with a focus on results and collaboration.

• Collaboration with a dedicated team of curators, project staff, and other departments.
• Salary placement in Grade 10 of the Museum Collective Bargaining Agreement (depending on knowledge and experience).
• A one-year employment contract starting September 1, with the possibility of renewal.
