Through its programs, activities, and (drama) series, AVROTROS reaches 3 out of 4 Dutch people every week. We contribute to a well-informed, safe, and just society and enrich it with accessible art and culture. We feel a sense of responsibility toward the community and therefore encourage shared experiences in all our programs and activities. That is why we say: AVROTROS. The broadcaster for us.
You will lead and manage change initiatives (including those) outlined in the existing Social Safety Action Plan. In addition, you ensure that these topics and projects remain a priority, that visible progress is made, and that the projects are ultimately embedded within the organization. By serving as a liaison between various teams and committees within the organization and the Diversity Council, you actively contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and diverse work environment.
As Project Manager, you will serve as an ambassador for the Diversity Council. In this role, you will identify themes and issues related to D&I that are relevant to the various groups within the organization. You will ensure that these issues are addressed and contribute to fostering cohesion within the Diversity Council, with a focus on building connections.
You will report directly to AVROTROS’s executive management, underscoring the fact that social safety and D&I are strategic pillars within the organization. This direct reporting line will enable you to take swift and effective action and make decisions without organizational barriers. Collaboration with HR remains essential for the effective implementation of D&I policy, while coordination with Communications and Marketing is important for both internal and external communication regarding D&I initiatives.
