The digital world is growing and changing rapidly. To ensure that everyone can fully participate in the digital society, we encourage our residents to continue developing their digital skills, information literacy, and media literacy. The West Achterhoek Library plays a key role in helping people engage with digitalization in a critical and informed way, and assists them in becoming and remaining self-reliant in the digital society. To this end, we are seeking a Digital Inclusion Project Manager to start as soon as possible.
This is a new position, so you will help shape its success. You will have the opportunity to help improve the digital literacy of residents in our municipalities. You will strengthen their self-reliance, increase their knowledge and awareness, and ensure that the benefits of digitization are available and accessible to everyone—digital inclusion.
You serve as a link between policy and implementation, working across teams and throughout the organization. Your mission for the coming years will be to raise the profile of our projects and collaborate on them with external partners (such as the Formulierenbrigade, the Volunteer Service Point, the UWV, the business community, and banks). You will serve as the central hub within the DigiTaalhuis and become part of an expert, ambitious, and enthusiastic team. You will work closely with the Taalhuis Coordinator, forming a dynamic duo in initiating, designing, managing, monitoring, and reporting on projects.
We are the West-Achterhoek Library! The library has long since ceased to be just a place where you come to borrow books. The West-Achterhoek Library is a community hub where you can read, study, and participate in all kinds of activities. We have seven branches in three municipalities: Doetinchem, Doesburg, and Bronckhorst. To plan our activities, we collaborate with schools, social service organizations, social and cultural institutions, and local governments. We want residents of our municipalities to be able to read and learn in an enjoyable way and to be able to participate successfully in society.
We value your work-life balance. You’ll have the freedom to organize your workdays flexibly. This also includes a work laptop and phone. You will receive a salary based on the collective bargaining agreement (scale 9, between €3,293 and €4,241 for a full-time position of 36 hours), an 8% vacation allowance, a year-end bonus, and a pension plan.
We are offering you an initial one-year contract with the possibility of extension and a permanent position. We believe it’s important for you to grow, so we provide excellent development and training opportunities. You’ll be joining an inspiring team of great colleagues who value professionalism, quality, and flexibility. We support one another, share our knowledge, and are constantly working to improve the organization. We offer plenty of opportunities for both your professional and personal growth.
