Primary education is on the cusp of significant changes to the curriculum. As Project Manager for Curriculum Implementation, you will play a key role—in collaboration with the AVS—in ensuring the successful rollout of the new curriculum in primary schools. You are responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing national activities related to the implementation, in close collaboration with our members, the AVS, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW), and the Secondary Education Council (VO-raad). You translate strategic policy into actionable plans and ensure alignment between school practice and policy. You focus on ensuring coherence between curriculum development, professional development, and organizational development within school organizations.
In this role, you will work under the umbrella of the PO Academy and within the service cluster focused on supporting primary school organizations with their educational and organizational challenges. Together with the partner organizations, you will ensure that the implementation is well-coordinated, widely supported, and sustainably embedded in the practice of primary education, with an eye for both content and execution.

The PO-Raad (located right next to the Utrecht Overvecht train station) is the sector association for primary education. We represent the interests of school organizations in primary education, special primary education, and (secondary) special education. In addition, the PO-Raad drives innovative projects and knowledge sharing within the sector.
