Are you a technical project manager (in construction, property management, or a related field) with experience in facility management and maintenance, and would you like to join our Real Estate Team? What will you be doing?

At Arkin Vastgoed, we are looking for a hands-on, solution-oriented technical project manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing scheduled maintenance work and sustainability projects. You will work closely with facilities management colleagues at various locations and with external vendors to keep our buildings in top condition.

In addition, you will serve as a sounding board for our (technical) colleagues on-site and maintain close contact with suppliers and contractors. You will contribute to our real estate policy by applying your knowledge of contract management and supplier selection and by ensuring the right balance between price and quality.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and overseeing (long-term) maintenance and scheduled work;
  • Managing and evaluating maintenance contractors, contractors, and suppliers;
  • Implementing energy-efficient and circular solutions in maintenance processes;
  • Developing and managing maintenance budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions;
  • Inspecting completed work and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Serve as a point of contact and sounding board for colleagues, users, and external parties;
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize maintenance contracts and service agreements.

  • Terms of employment in accordance with the GGZ Collective Bargaining Agreement, pay scale 55/60 (min. €3,199 and max. €5,548 gross based on a 36-hour workweek), depending on education and work experience;

  • Have a demonstrable college-level work and thinking ability, preferably with a degree in engineering or a related field, supplemented by 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
  • Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Have a solution-oriented and practical approach, with an eye for value for money and sustainability;
  • Have knowledge of contract management and supplier selection;
  • Experience in client-led project management and project management is a plus;
  • A driver's license (Class B) and your own transportation are also preferred, given the various locations throughout the Greater Amsterdam area.
