
The Informal Care Expertise Center is one of the divisions of Markant. We advise organizations and professionals in healthcare, social services, and education, as well as our partners and the municipality, on informal care and support for informal caregivers. We provide information, conduct research, and offer training with the goal of shaping and promoting collaboration between clients, healthcare professionals, and informal caregivers.
As a project coordinator at our Center of Expertise, you are an expert in the field of informal care and informal care support. Together with the project manager and two colleagues, you will coordinate the activities within our Center of Expertise. You will carry out projects independently and have the space and freedom to bring your ideas to life. In your role, you will focus on a number of key themes, such as work and informal caregiving and “young caregivers.”
Professional Development: You will explore topics such as young caregivers, working caregivers, and foster parents so that you can share your knowledge in these areas.
Markant is the center for informal care in Amsterdam, Diemen, and Duivendrecht, and is an independent organization operating under the umbrella of Cordaan. With 24 colleagues, we support informal caregivers in their caregiving tasks by providing information, training, and education, as well as deploying volunteers for respite care. Through our Center of Expertise, we enhance the expertise of professionals in healthcare, social services, and education, and advise the municipality and organizations on informal care.

The terms of employment are in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement.
When you start at Cordaan, you’ll receive a nicebonus!For full-time employment,you’ll receive€500 net(pro-rated based on your contracted hours). You’ll receive the first 50% at the start of your employment and the remainder after two years on the job. A nice reward for your hard work!
Are you referring anew colleague? If so, you’ll receive €250 when the colleague you referred starts. And after one year of employment, you’ll receive another €250. That means you’ll get a totalof €500 net!
