Would you like to play a key role in shaping and implementing the strategy for improving public broadcasting? Are you someone who excels at planning and organizing projects effectively? If so, join our organization as a PMO specialist.
As a PMO professional, you’ll help organize and manage large-scale projects and initiatives within the public broadcasting sector. A key example of this is helping to roll out the joint strategy of the NPO and the broadcasters. This means you’ll help various teams and project groups work together to achieve their goals. You’ll work closely with the strategic advisors and other team members, and you’ll be their go-to person for project-related advice and support.
As a PMO professional, you have a broad perspective and are a team player who is engaged, collaborative, and results-oriented. Your communication style is clear and pleasant.
You are confident, know what you want and what needs to be done, and are able to persevere in achieving your goals. You are quick to take the initiative and recognize the importance of gaining the support of project or program managers and their teams. You actively contribute ideas for solutions. Finally, you are able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
The Strategy and Innovation Department consists of two teams: the Strategy and Stakeholder Management Team and the Innovation Team. Among other things, the department is responsible for the strategy cycle carried out in collaboration with broadcasters, serves as the point of contact for several key partners of public broadcasting, and works to promote innovation within public broadcasting. The department has 14 employees. You will report directly to the Director of Strategy & Innovation.
The PMO position is initially for a one-year term, after which it will be evaluated. The position is for 36 hours per week. You will receive a one-year contract, and the salary ranges from €3,651 to €5,742 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek. The position has yet to be officially graded. We determine the pay grade based on education, experience, and equal pay for all genders.
Are you the PMO professional who really gets into projects? Don’t hesitate—apply today. If you’d like to learn more about the PMO role, please contact Ezra Eeman, Director of Strategy & Innovation, via Antoinette Smit at 06 25 63 83 77. You can also text or call Jolanda Janssen, recruiter, at 06 23 63 71 31. If you have no questions and are enthusiastic about the role, please send your resume and cover letter (attn: Ezra Eeman).
The schedule will be provided as soon as possible.
The NPO has a public mission: to serve the interests of every individual and society as a whole. The needs of our audience—with all its diverse backgrounds and perspectives—are our guiding principle. We want this to be reflected in our organization’s workforce. We believe in an inclusive organization that harnesses the power of diversity to achieve even better results. Because it is precisely because we differ from one another that we can arrive at new insights and better solutions. We therefore welcome candidates who, through their background and experience, wish to contribute to this. When candidates are equally qualified, preference will be given to the candidate who strengthens diversity within the NPO in this way.
