Platform ACCT is building a resilient cultural and creative sector. Our focus is on creating better working conditions, strengthening long-term employability, and increasing the earning potential of all workers. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, we work together with the sector to build a future-proof labor market.
Platform ACCT was founded in 2020 as a project organization. Since January 1, 2025, we have served as the cross-sectoral BIS institution for the labor market and have evolved from a pioneer into a well-established organization. This transition requires us to strengthen our team, which is why we have a number of job openings, including within our fairPACCT program.
The fairPACCT program translates the Fair Practice Code into concrete tools for practical application in the cultural and creative sector, particularly in the area of fair pay. We facilitate and support dialogue among relevant parties in each subsector through so-called “sector roundtables.” The fairPACCT program facilitates these consultation tables by providing a budget for research and the development of tools, policy support, an independent chairperson, and a secretary.
The program launched in 2021 and will run at least through 2028. Within fairPACCT, active involvement of representatives from the sector is central: workers and employers, preferably including intermediaries and vocational training providers. This encompasses various disciplines (e.g., digital culture, pop music, or film/AV), different roles (e.g., creators, producers, venues, or financiers), and diverse backgrounds (e.g., in terms of career stage, education, or region). Over the past three years, sector roundtables have been established for 12 professional groups or sub-sectors. These will continue to be supported over the next four years. In addition, new sector roundtables are being launched. Because the number of sector roundtables is expanding, we are seeking a second program secretary.
At fairPACCT, you will work alongside the program manager, the other program secretary, and the communications officer. You will also be in regular contact with the Platform ACCT team and many external stakeholders. You will report to the program manager.
It would be great if you already have experience with similar work and could briefly describe it in your cover letter. If you haven’t done everything yet, please know that at Platform ACCT, we have the time and resources available to help you develop further.
Experience in the cultural and creative sector and/or professional experience as a creator within the sector is a plus. If you also have knowledge of the labor market and how industry organizations, their representatives, and their constituencies operate, we’d be thrilled.
The success of our organization depends entirely on the quality of our people and the ideas they bring to the table. Relevant insights and innovative initiatives stem from a blend of cultures, knowledge, and experience. Whether you have a unique perspective on the world, bring fresh creative energy, or have a background not yet represented on our team: we encourage you to apply. Together, we want to push boundaries and make a positive impact.
You will be offered a 24-hour-per-week position for one year, with the possibility of a permanent position. It is important to note that the fairPACCT program is funded through 2028.
You can work in a hybrid model (from home and in the office) and have the flexibility to set your own schedule. Work for Ketentafels often takes place on-site, primarily within the Randstad. We value meeting regularly at our office in Amsterdam, where workspaces are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The salary is based on pay scale 9 of the Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement (which we follow). You will accrue pension benefits, receive vacation pay, and a year-end bonus. Employee benefits include: parental leave, educational support, a work-from-home allowance, and reimbursement for commuting expenses.
You’ll become part of a close-knit, hardworking, and friendly team dedicated to sustainably strengthening the labor market in the cultural and creative sectors. We’re continuing to build our organization by working closely together, making mistakes along the way, learning from them, and looking out for one another. We celebrate our successes (often with team outings) and regularly reflect on how we can improve.
