You are the program manager for the PGO on Airprogram . You will establish new contacts and collaborate with our PGO alliance partners to achieve our goal: to raise awareness of , promote the adoption of, and maximize the use of PGOs in the Netherlands.
As a program manager, you set the program’s direction and translate plans into concrete actions for the program team. You collaborate with pillar owners within the program and with various stakeholders outside of it. This is reflected in the following activities:
You will join the Digital Healthcare team, which consists of approximately seven professionals who are collectively responsible for various areas related to digital data exchange, personal health environments (PHEs), and hybrid care. Each team member is part of one or more programs or projects in the field of digital healthcare. In this way, we contribute to national healthcare information policy in collaboration with the government and other healthcare stakeholders, and we are realizing a vision for digital healthcare and PHEs in particular. We also promote hybrid care and work on the website digitalezorggids.nl, the guide to help people find the most suitable digital healthcare options. The motto “for patients and by patients” is central to this. In addition, we also carry out projects in the areas of medication transfer within the healthcare chain and artificial intelligence. In all our projects, key themes such as user-friendliness, privacy, and public awareness play a major role.
As a program manager, you are a strong leader who can oversee multiple areas of focus simultaneously. You serve as a key advisor and liaison for stakeholders within the PGO system and the program team, and you work closely with MedMij.
In this role, you will also bring the following:
In addition to the skills listed above, you must meet the following requirements:
In short, you’ll ensure that more patients and residents are aware of PGO’s, can choose them, use them, and make the most of them. We offer a dynamic role within a socially relevant organization—one where you can further develop your skills in substantive, strategic, and political areas, and build a strong network within the healthcare sector.
We offer flexible working hours. So this isn’t a job where you necessarily have to work strictly “9 to 5.” With us, you can work in a hybrid model (partly from home, partly at our office in Utrecht). However, if you prefer, you can also work entirely at our office.
Depending on your education and experience, the salary is up to €6,065.00 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek (Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, Scale 12). You will receive a one-year employment contract with the possibility of renewal.
The Dutch Patient Federation offers attractive employment terms, including an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) and a career budget. The IKB provides you with a budget that you can use at your discretion to receive as cash or to purchase additional leave hours.
The Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement is followed. Under the terms of the agreement, you are enrolled in the Healthcare and Social Services Pension Fund.
