Click is the health and wellness department of the Beverwijk Center for the Arts, where we connect vulnerable and special-needs populations with arts education. Our focus is on empowerment and a sense of belonging. We collaborate with various local and regional organizations in the health and social sectors with the goal of achieving inclusion for everyone.
The program manager will work with partners from the fields of education, culture, social services, and healthcare to organize and co-organize educational and socio-cultural projects for youth and seniors in Beverwijk, such as cultural education during and after school hours in special education settings, the International Children’s Festival and International Culture School, Summer Spectacular, and Winter on the Square.
We are looking for someone

- with a background in (special) education and/or art education and demonstrable work experience with various special populations
- who is well-informed about developments in the social sector, preferably at both the local and national levels
- who is a whiz at planning and organizing
- with good social and communication skills

- who is able to work toward a final result both individually and as part of a team
- and is eager to help us further develop Click
Responsibilities
- design and organize projects in special education, the local community, at social service organizations and healthcare facilities, as well as at our own location
- ensure the implementation of policy frameworks for arts education within the social sector
- guiding and coaching teachers in the development of workshops and lessons tailored to specific target groups
- Point of contact for Click team members, other colleagues at the Beverwijk Center for the Arts, and external partners
