Our ambitious library is committed to strengthening digital and language skills. Are you too? Do you have a passion for language and digital technology? Are you skilled at coordinating and organizing? Are you a natural networker and connector? And do you have experience managing and motivating volunteers? If so, we’re looking for you to be our new Program Coordinator for the DigiTaalhuis.
The Library is committed to improving digital and language skills. Are you?
DigiTaalhuis Rijn en Venen plays a coordinating role in supporting and facilitating residents’ development in the areas of the Dutch language and basic digital skills. We are increasingly integrating this with the theme of positive health. We are looking for a program coordinator to coordinate the activities of the DigiTaalhuis in Kaag en Braassem and Zoeterwoude-Dorp. In addition, you will launch new initiatives that link positive health to language and digital skills. You will do this in collaboration with our network partners. You will also maintain contact with volunteers, local organizations, and communities within our municipalities.
Are you passionate about language and digital skills—and ideally about positive health as well? Do you have experience working with and an affinity for our target group of adults with low literacy and/or low digital literacy? Do you have experience both recruiting and managing volunteers? Are you a natural networker and connector? And do you have your own transportation? If so, we’d love to hear from you for our new 24-hour-per-week program coordinator position!
Want to know what we have to offer? Enthusiastic colleagues and dedicated volunteers, challenging and meaningful work with a group eager to learn, and employment terms based on pay scale 7 with the potential to advance to pay scale 8 under the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Public Libraries. Please send your application by Monday, April 10, to vacature@bibliotheekrijnenvenen.nl, addressed to Esther Wongsodikromo. If you have any questions, please email Esther at e.wongsodikromo@bibliotheekrijnenvenen.nl. She will respond to your inquiry by email or phone as soon as possible.
