When you think of a library, you think of books. But if you walk into any branch of the Eemland Library these days, you’re sure to be surprised. Not only by the wide variety of visitors—because we’re literally here for everyone—but also by the different kinds of activities we organize. From the DigiTaalhuis, where people can practice language and digital skills, to projects we undertake with schools. From an inspiring lecture by a well-known author to a workshop on the rapid development of AI. The library is a place where you can meet others, where you’ll be inspired, and where there’s plenty of room for growth. An organization where enthusiastic colleagues work, brimming with great ideas. Where we work hard, but there’s also time for a friendly cup of coffee. That’s what makes working at the Eemland Library so much fun!
Because we believe everyone should be able to participate, we help people improve their reading and writing skills, as well as develop their digital skills. We do this through the DigiTaalhuis. The DigiTaalhuis aims to help residents of the Eemland region improve their Dutch language skills and other basic skills so that they can participate more fully in society, according to their own abilities and at their own level. The DigiTaalhuis achieves this by collaborating with partners to offer a dynamic and professionally delivered program that meets the needs of the residents of the Eemland region.
Due to the departure of the current project manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative
