The National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps is responsible in the Netherlands for two European Union initiatives: Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps. Program Advisor, Strategy and Impact

As an agency, we believe it is important to fund projects that truly make a difference—projects that give young people the opportunity to develop and make their voices heard, that allow organizations to actively learn from one another within our programs, and that offer training to genuinely advance the quality of (international) youth work in the Netherlands. And that we bring together Dutch issues and knowledge on the themes of youth work quality and youth participation within the European network. To actually take steps in this direction, we are looking for a Program Advisor for Strategy and Impact.
What will you be doing?
As a Strategy and Impact Program Advisor, you will play a key role in positioning both programs. In collaboration with the program advisors, you will work on enhancing the quality and impact of projects, embedding our focus themes throughout all our activities, and fostering a learning organization. In addition, you will help shape our role as an international knowledge broker. You will develop a multi-year strategy for the deployment of our network training programs and European partnerships and manage our pool of trainers. Finally, you will play a key role in contributing to the accountability of both programs. In collaboration with the communications team, you will ensure that the results of our projects are made visible and that relevant stakeholders see that both programs matter.
What do we expect from you?
You believe it is important for young people to have the opportunity to develop their talents and skills through non-formal learning methods, you have seen how international youth work can contribute to Dutch youth work, and you are passionate about youth participation. You enjoy helping us figure out how to best utilize our programs and translate available knowledge into a clear strategy.
You will work independently as part of a motivated, close-knit, and dynamic team. You are a true team player with a hands-on approach. You also identify with the following profile:
What can you expect from us?
This is a 32-hour-per-week position, initially for one year. An extension may be possible. The salary depends on your education and experience and amounts to a maximum of €4,358 gross per month (employee category 1, scale 9) for a full-time position of 36 hours. Working from home part-time is certainly possible, combined with, for example, two days in the office.
