You’ll be joining the Retail Banking team. Your mission?
Recruit as many individual donors as possible and turn them into lifelong UNICEF supporters. The team is responsible for a large portion of UNICEF’s revenue—as much as 65% of annual revenue. Together, you want to grow this share and make an even greater impact.
The cluster consists of several marketing teams, each with its own Senior Marketer serving as Product Owner. You’ll be joining a dynamic organization wheredigital innovationis a top priority.
What you will be doing
As a Senior Marketer, you will be jointly responsible (along with the Head of Retail Banking and the other Senior Marketers) for translating the long-term acquisition and engagement strategy into concrete fundraising goals and KPIs. You will take the lead in developing and implementing an effectiveengagement strategywith a particular focus on engagement through digital channels. You will work within multidisciplinary target group teams using theagile/SCRUM methodology.
Your role
You are the Senior Marketer and Product Owner, with a focus on maximizing value and retention. With your experience, you add real value across all channels and know how to retain donors, with the digital channel playing a major role in our growth ambitions. You work closely with various departments, including Communications and Tech & Data, provide substantive guidance to the team, develop the overarching strategy, and make substantive decisions.
- Responsible for the results of the annual plan and its associated objectives;
- Further developing UNICEF’s engagement marketing strategy and managing campaigns;
- Providing substantive guidance to the team on strategic campaign management;
- Leading specialists and stakeholders to implement innovative propositions and channels;
- Using data, customer journeys, and performance metrics to achieve set KPIs;
- You are responsible for budget management.
Here’s what we’re asking
- You are a creative self-starter who doesn’t shy away from challenges, identifies opportunities, and inspires the team to bring out the best in themselves;
- You are entrepreneurial, results-oriented, adaptable, and an excellent communicator, and you have proven experience with digital channels;
- You’re not afraid to go against the grain and inspire others to bring about change;
- You have a college or university level of work and thinking, and marketing knowledge at the NIMA C level;
- At least 5–10 years of experience in customer engagement, digital marketing, and data-driven work;
- You have experience with commercial campaigns and real-time marketing;
- You have a proven track record in developing an engagement strategy that integrates offline and online channels;
- You are skilled at designing customer journeys and using digital channels and content in storytelling and one-on-one communication;
- You are familiar with Paid Media, CRO, Marketing Automation, Microsoft Dynamics, and Google Analytics;
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Design Thinking is a plus.

- A competitive salary ranging from €4,919 to €7,011 gross per month (based on a 38-hour workweek), depending on your knowledge and experience.
