We still sell a lot of books through brick-and-mortar bookstores, but sales through our e-commerce channel are growing. We are also the market leader in e-books, and we have ambitious plans for publishing audiobooks.
To maintain and further expand this position, we are looking for a full-time
Digital Product Manager
(36 hours)
The Position
Within
the e-commerce department, you and your colleagues are responsible for
bringing our digital products to market, and—together with the publishers—you
identify opportunities within our imprints and monitor all domestic and international
initiatives and developments in the field of digital publishing, which are
leveraged for Meulenhoff Boekerij wherever possible. In addition, you will serve as
the point of contact for external partners, customers, and the internal organization.
Who are you?
You have an
entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build commercial relationships
and grow revenue for both parties. You are flexible and
self-directed, and able to engage in conversations at various levels and
identify the needs of our business partners. In addition, you have an
intrinsic interest in digital developments and a demonstrable affinity
for e-commerce, online marketing, books, and (digital) publishing. You are a
strategic thinker with highly developed analytical skills that allow you to assess the
effects of initiatives.
