The NTR’s “Information” and “Philosophy of Life” editorial teams provide a diverse range of media content, with a special focus on themes and stories that might otherwise remain underrepresented.
The NTR is seeking a Producer, effective January 1, for various productions by these editorial teams, including the talk show *De Sociëteit* and the program *Iedereen Verlicht*
32 hours per week
• Work on various projects alongside colleagues from our Information and Philosophy editorial teams. This includes both studio and on-location productions.
• You will assist the producer with (the preparation of) a live studio program. You will be on site on these days. We will be broadcasting live every Saturday from January 11 to March 22, 2025, from Desmet Studio in Amsterdam.
• Preparing for shooting days, such as scheduling and arranging facilities and creating call sheets;
• Applying for and processing image licenses and ensuring that the requested material is delivered to the correct destination;
• Maintain close contact with the producers, directors, camera and sound crews, and work with the producer to ensure that the shooting schedules are clear and manageable for everyone;
• Be responsible for program administration, such as archiving video footage and rights information.
• A communicative and approachable team player with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility;
• Someone who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing track of the big picture and who clearly understands where the priorities lie;
• A top-notch organizational talent who can adapt quickly—you thrive on ad hoc tasks and last-minute changes;
• Someone who works meticulously and independently and sees every request for help as a challenge;
• Experience as a junior producer in television and/or radio/online,
A six-month contract through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade F of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement. The other terms and conditions of employment also comply with the collective bargaining agreement for broadcasting personnel.
