Here's what you'll be doing:

• Provide NPO Kennis with content that reflects current events and resonates with the experiences of our target audience (ages 18–40);
• Research for posts, articles, and stories in words and images;
• Writing scripts for explainer videos;
• Creating engaging, visually appealing stories for the platform;
• Collaborating with other broadcast newsrooms and civil society organizations;
• Actively responding to and addressing questions, comments, and feedback from our followers on social media;
• Take editorial meetings to the next level with your educational and cross-media ideas.

This is you:

• Extensive experience as a researcher and online editor;
• You’re full of ideas, enjoy thinking outside the box, and have a wide range of interests;
• A news junkie who can explain the news to our target audience in an accessible way through educational stories;
• A professional who knows exactly how visuals and text can complement each other to create compelling online copy;
• A skilled writer who conveys content clearly and fluently;
• Able to contribute to the platform both independently and as part of a team;
• Skilled in graphic design and proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and CMS systems.

Here's what we offer:

A contract through December 31, 2023, with the possibility of extension. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade G (€2,869.55 – €4,377.65) of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement.
