Online Content Specialist: Crime

Data, distribution, research, and online play an essential role in this. 

What will you be doing?

As an Online Content Specialist for Crime, you will be responsible for managing all online channels related to crime. You will write and promote engaging stories for theCrime portaland use data to optimize content. You know how to grow the enthusiastic community onFacebook, and onInstagram, you know how to reach a younger audience in innovative ways.

The work includes:

• Creating engaging online content related to crime/detective shows andtrue crimeproductions by KRO-NCRV
• Managing and expanding the onlineCrime platform
• Managing the crime social media channelsInstagram andFacebook
• Tracking and analyzing data to improve the performance and quality of the content
• Creating, editing, and optimizing videos for use on social media channels

About you

• You have a passion for everything related to crime, detective stories, andtrue crime;
• You have experience writing and creating website content;
• You have experience creating social media content;
• You are familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook;
• You have excellent command of the Dutch language;
• You are proactive and able to work independently;
• You have a creative eye for developing new and innovative content. 

What we offer

We offer a 32-hour-per-week employment contract, initially for a period of six months.

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Broadcasting Personnel, this position is classified in pay scale F. The salary depends on age and experience and ranges from €2,711.87 to €3,988.60.

Other terms and conditions of employment include:

• 8% vacation pay
• 6% year-end bonus
• a fixed mileage allowance or free commuting via public transportation using the NS Business Card with a Traject Vrij pass
• the option to swap public holidays
• more than 5 weeks of vacation, prorated based on length of service
• a loaner laptop
• a generous pension plan
• a space for knowledge transfer, education, and training
