Would you like to help build a more sustainable society? Then you’ve come to the right place! For 45 years, CE Delft has played a unique and leading role in developing structural solutions to sustainability challenges. We work with enthusiasm on issues related to energy, the economy, mobility, and raw material and production chains. We are critical, open, and constructive, and our motivation is the societal value of our work.
As a researcher/advisor on climate policy for the built environment, you will focus on making the energy supply for homes, businesses, and greenhouse horticulture more sustainable. You will work on policy issues such as energy conservation, district heating networks, climate adaptation, and climate justice. You conduct quantitative and qualitative research, perform policy evaluations, and develop scenarios, enabling you to provide stakeholders with well-founded advice.
You will work in small project teams alongside colleagues from other disciplines. You will often be managing multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own timeline and deadline. The projects are commissioned by government agencies, municipalities, energy and utility companies, environmental organizations, and industry associations. Depending on your experience, the work involves research and consulting, project acquisition, project management, writing clear reports, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
