At the Fund for Cultural Participation, we are looking for a Research and Impact Coordinator to develop and implement the Fund’s research and impact strategy.
Are you someone who can keep a clear overview, has strong analytical skills, is good at keeping stakeholders informed, is familiar with various research methods, and can get to the heart of the matter? If so, we’re looking for you.
The Cultural Participation Fund is a national cultural fund that promotes active cultural participation in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We support cultural projects by providing grants. For example, to strengthen cultural education in schools, organize a neighborhood theater festival, or develop creative approaches to new media and heritage. We are active in the fields of cultural education, cultural participation, heritage, and talent development. We contribute to a level playing field for diverse cultural creators, forms of culture, and ways of actively participating in them. In doing so, we work closely with national and local partners.
With an organization of over sixty employees, a flexible pool of approximately fifteen independent contractors, and a network of around one hundred external committee members, we are committed—guidedby our core values of accessibility, engagement, courage, inclusivity, and connection—towhat drives us: the power of art and culture.
As Research and Impact Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, monitoring, and conducting research on the impact of the Fund’s policies and the effectiveness of its programs and supporting policies. We are increasingly focusing on a data-driven approach and follow a Theory of Change in this regard. You will utilize an evaluation toolkit consisting of both qualitative and quantitative research, covering both the short and long term. You have a vision and strategy for the Fund’s research program that you will implement, develop, and promote, both internally and externally. You will advise the Management Team and relevant colleagues based on the results of the research.
As a Research and Impact Coordinator, you are part of the Development cluster. Together with the developers and strategic advisors, you are responsible for shaping policy and policy tools.
