As CSR Manager, you’ll ensure we stay ahead of the curve and contribute to sustainable and socially responsible initiatives that are commercially viable. You stay up to date on the latest developments in your field, particularly those in the textile industry. You regularly engage with various departments and participate in meetings with prospects and clients to share our story with conviction and passion. In doing so, you effectively translate client needs into the sustainable and social solutions we offer.
You are the key liaison and point of contact within our company for sustainability and corporate social responsibility. You initiate and drive various projects in this area and therefore work closely with the different departments within our company.
What will you be doing?
- You will be responsible for our sustainability policy and will continue to develop it
- You develop sustainable and socially responsible concepts that are commercially viable
- You will initiate and coordinate projects in the areas of sustainability and social entrepreneurship
- You are our expert in sustainability and social entrepreneurship
- You are responsible for the substance of the ISO 14001 audits and the CO2 Performance Ladder
- You maintain the audit reports (BSCI) for our suppliers
- You will help ensure transparency in the textile supply chain together with our partner Tex.tracer
- You are responsible for publishing our annual sustainability report
Our ideal candidate:
- A college or university level of education and thinking, preferably in the fields of Sustainability, Sustainable Textile Technologies, or Fashion & Textile Technologies.
- You have a clear understanding of trends and developments in CSR
- You are able to persuade and inspire others
- You work on a project basis and are good at maintaining an overview and monitoring progress
- You easily build connections between different stakeholders, departments, and levels
- You enjoy researching and delving into various topics related to sustainability and social entrepreneurship
- You are familiar with the various laws and regulations
