One day you’ll be writing a news article, a few social media posts, and an e-magazine; the next, you’ll be drafting scripts for videos and podcasts, devising a content marketing strategy, and overseeing a content migration. Working as a content specialist at CAOP means you’re a jack-of-all-trades, enjoy dynamic work for a wide range of clients, and serve as the linchpin in content production projects both large and small. Does this sound like you, and are you the content specialist we’re looking for?
Mid-level Content Specialist
What will you be doing?
As a content specialist, your responsibilities include implementing the content marketing strategy for CAOP and various clients. Together with your colleagues on the content and online team, you’ll manage various content calendars and ensure that all content is published according to schedule. You’ll know which content works best for different social media channels and advise colleagues on this. You will create and write compelling copy for mailings, campaigns, case studies, testimonials, blogs, articles, and white papers. You will design attractive visuals in Canva to share on social media. When necessary, you will also oversee the production of podcasts, infographics, photos, illustrations, animations, or videos.
You’ll not only create content but also handle a variety of editorial tasks for clients. This includes conducting interviews, compiling newsletters, editing texts, and covering events. Our clients include labor market funds, educational and healthcare institutions, government agencies, and local governments. The copy you write and the content you produce will help them effectively reach their target audiences and encourage them to take action.
The content team you’ll be joining is a close-knit group of 8 content specialists. Since you’ll often be working independently for clients, it’s important for the team to stay in touch and share knowledge with one another. In a weekly meeting, the content specialists discuss what they’re working on, what challenges they’re facing, and how they can help each other. As part of the content team, you’ll collaborate with online specialists, communications advisors, policy advisors, and researchers, as well as designers, web editors, and external content creators.
The content team is part of the Communications and Marketing Department, which consists of more than 35 experienced and passionate professionals. The department handles communications and marketing for the CAOP and our clients, from strategy through creation to implementation.
What are we making?
