
As a Theater Technician at the Concertgebouw, you’ll be working at one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, in a place where there’s always something new happening every day. Together with your colleagues, you’ll be part of the Operations Team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that events run smoothly, drawing on your knowledge and experience and utilizing theater technical equipment.

As a Theater Technician, you will work as part of the team and be responsible, among other things, for providing technical support for events held in the building. This support is often provided from the control room, but sometimes also from one of our auditoriums.
· Assisting with the setup and takedown of various events,
· Perform maintenance on theater technical systems;
· Operating our building management system. You play a key role in ensuring that we deliver a great event for our guests.
Working hours vary and will be determined in consultation with you. You are comfortable working evenings, nights, and weekends.
You have sufficient technical expertise to work independently on lighting, sound, hoisting/rigging, and AV technology. Digital mixing consoles and Dante networks are no problem for you. Knowledge of lighting systems using sACN is a plus, and you also have the knowledge and experience needed to troubleshoot minor issues and/or perform repairs on the technical systems in our building.
In addition:
· Do you have strong communication skills?

· A salary ranging from €2,171 to €3,258 gross per month, in accordance with the Concertgebouw’s compensation system
, based on full-time employment
