Legal & Contracts Associate, 32 hours (fewer hours negotiable)
The position
As a Rights & Contracts Specialist, you will support the editorial team in matters related to rights and contracts. You will draft contractual agreements with authors, illustrators, photographers, photo stock agencies, translators, and others, and manage, administer, advise on, and review these agreements in accordance with the publisher’s policies. You will provide advice on legal aspects related to intellectual property, potentially in consultation with external experts.
Within the Legal & Contracts department, you will focus on digital rights and related communications. You will also initiate and coordinate grant applications and serve as the point of contact for these matters.
