Kunstmin is Dordrecht’s theater. In our venues, we present, produce, and develop performing arts for a wide audience—ranging from major national productions to new concepts created in collaboration with artists and partners from the city and surrounding region.

In this dynamic environment, you can shine in the classic and contemporarySchouwburg, featuring the Main Hall, the Small Hall, and lively lobbies. We also manage the industrialEnergiehuis, which features two flat-floor halls (Machine 3 and Ketel 1), an inspiring studio, and several meeting rooms.

For our Program team, we are looking for aProgram Coordinatorwho can maintain an overview, build connections, and ensure that programs run smoothly.

About the role

TheProgramming Teamconsists of two program curators, a program coordinator, and a programmer/manager. In our programming, we like to thinkoutside the boxand develop, produce, and present new and timely concepts in collaboration with artists and partners from the cultural, social, and economic sectors.

As a Program Coordinator, you serve as the link within the team and between different departments. You make sure plans become a reality: from the initial idea to implementation.

You will produce programs, support the artistic process, and oversee scheduling, agreements, and budgets. In doing so, you will work closely with program curators, artists, producers, and colleagues within the organization.

You easily switch between organizing, communicating, and coordinating. This ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so the show can shine on stage.

What will you be doing?

You produce programs and projects, ranging from small to large
You will assist program producers in bringing the program to fruition
You maintain contact with talent agencies, companies, producers, and partners
You create schedules, monitor deadlines, and keep track of appointments and budgets
You will develop contingency plans and ensure that all relevant departments are kept well informed
You will provide administrative and organizational support within the Program team
You organize educational activities and supervise programs as needed
