The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is regarded worldwide as one of the leading symphony orchestras. In our work, we strive for top quality! What does your job entail?
You will perform various administrative tasks to support the HR Manager and the HR Advisor in connection with the work processes within the Human Resources department. You will carry out these tasks independently, but will consult regularly with your colleagues.
What will you be doing?
- You will handle personnel administration for purposes such as payroll, sick leave, and occupational health and safety, and draft various (standard) letters and agreements;
- You will provide administrative support for job application processes and auditions;
- You will manage the digital HR archive and maintain the HR section of the intranet;
- You will serve as the point of contact for various employee benefits, including hearing protection and instrument maintenance;
- You process digital expense reports and invoices;
- You will organize various committees, meetings, and training sessions; serve as the emergency response coordinator; and participate in and take minutes for the occupational health and safety committee;
- You prepare grant applications using a standard format and monitor them.
Who are you?
- You have a college-level education and way of thinking.
- You have experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role;
- You are proficient in various software packages such as MS Office (Excel), Teams, and Salesforce, and you quickly get the hang of new systems;
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and a good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Experience and training in HR are a plus;
- An interest in (classical) music is a plus;
- You are sociable, honest, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, able to set priorities, able to handle stress, and a team player;
- In addition, a healthy sense of perspective and a good sense of humor are highly valued.
What do we offer you?
- A varied role within the Human Resources department. You will also collaborate with colleagues from other departments, such as Finance and Facilities, and interact with orchestra members;
- If both parties are satisfied with the collaboration, there is the possibility of a permanent position after one year;
- A salary ranging from a minimum of €3,150 to a maximum of €4,238 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek (100%), depending on your experience. In addition, you will receive an 8% vacation pay;
