What are you going to do? 

As an HR payroll administrator, you’re a hero to your colleagues—you ensure that payroll runs smoothly by managing all personnel changes. Fortunately, you don’t have to do this work alone; you have two direct colleagues in payroll who help you handle requests for assistance and share the workload.

• You’ll ensure flawless HR administration, managing all personnel changes like a true AFAS InSite expert.
• You will be a key contributor to HR projects and initiatives. Together with the team, you will help develop and implement policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• You are always available to answer questions from employees and consultants.
• Together with the team, you’ll work to create a positive work environment.
• You regularly visit the various barracks, not only to explain HR matters but also simply to be there for your colleagues.

Who are you?  

As a safety region, we reflect our region, which means you need to be able to collaborate and communicate with people at various levels. Given the variety of tasks and responsibilities, it’s important that you can organize your work and set priorities.

You'll recognize yourself in this

• You have completed an MBO+ diploma in HR or Human Resources
• You have knowledge of and experience working with HR systems. Knowledge of AFAS Profit and InSite is a plus
• You have a healthy sense of humor, and your enthusiasm is contagious
• You work with attention to detail, have strong communication skills, and are service-oriented
• You’d like to come into the office two days a week to see your colleagues
• Working on Wednesdays is no problem at all

Here's what you'll get from us

The Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety Region is offering a position within a dynamic and ambitious organization as part of a professional team, with ample opportunities for personal development.

• Salary in pay grade 7, ranging from €2,644 to €3,818 per month, based on a 36-hour workweek.
• A job for 24–32 hours a week
• A flexible spending allowance equal to 18.63% of your gross annual salary. This includes your year-end bonus and vacation pay.
• 177 hours of leave based on a 36-hour workweek, including 43.2 hours of overtime. Plus, you get May 1 and May 5 off as standard!
• A one-year appointment, with the possibility of a permanent position
• A generous pension plan through ABP, 70% of which is paid by us
• The option to work remotely with a work-from-home allowance of €3 per day.
• Monthly premium for your health insurance.

The team

You will be working in a team of 6 other colleagues who handle various tasks related to payroll and HR administration. The entire HR department consists of more than 30 colleagues who work hard every day to ensure that all HR-related matters run smoothly.
