Financial Administration Clerk (F/M/X)

What does your team look like?

Within the Finance and Control department, you will be part of the Financial Administration team at the Concertgebouw. This is a dedicated, enthusiastic, and friendly department consisting of seven financial professionals who also handle the accounting for several other organizations, including the Concertgebouw Fund Foundation.  

What will you be doing?

As a Financial Administration Associate, you will help ensure the smooth operation of financial processes at the Concertgebouw. The focus of the role is on accounts payable.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• You will review and process incoming invoices.
• You ensure that the invoices are approved by the colleagues responsible for the budget.
• You’ll keep track of the process and ensure that approved invoices are paid on time.
• You will process payments in the accounting system and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• You will answer internal and external questions about data processing, request any missing information, and help resolve any issues that may arise.

You will work closely on a daily basis with virtually all departments within the Concertgebouw, including Programming, Education, Production, Marketing, Sponsorship, Venue Rental, and Events.

• A salary between €2,316 and €3,356 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours per week);

We are starting with a one-year contract, but we intend to extend it indefinitely.
