an organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant arts scene in our city, in the field of
cultural education and cultural activities in one's free time.

to be a cultural practitioner and to draw inspiration from the art of others.
Our Cultural Activities Department supports all providers of cultural activities in The Hague, such as dance and music teachers, theater and music associations, and organizers of cultural events. We do this by providing information and advice on rehearsal and performance venues, fostering collaborations, encouraging member recruitment, keeping an eye on current developments, offering financial assistance, and more. Cultural Activities Coordinator
24 hours a weekHere's what you'll be doing:
- You will be responsible for organizing projects, training sessions, and meetings;
- You support Funding for your art! including administrative tasks and organizing pitch meetings;
- You are responsible for the profiles of providers, the calendar, and The Hague’s Cultural Map on our website;
- Together with the Marketing and Communications department, you will ensure that the content on the “Leisure” pages of our website is up-to-date and relevant;
- You will perform general support tasks for the department (some of which are administrative);
- During peak periods in other departments, you’ll also pitch in by helping to organize events such as large gatherings.
What you'll need:
- You are a good planner and you are solution-oriented;
- You have experience organizing and producing projects, training sessions, and meetings;
- You are service-oriented;
- You are interested in art and culture, and you are eager to join us in promoting cultural activities in The Hague;
- You have completed a relevant program at the MBO-4 level or higher.

- You don't need many words to know what to do and get started;
- You work meticulously and ensure that the projects you're involved in run smoothly;
- You're a team player, but you take responsibility for your tasks;
- You have excellent communication skills.
