Are you an enterprising communications professional who is fully up to date on content marketing and communications? Do you enjoy contributing ideas on social issues related to politics? In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop creative concepts and bring them to life together with your colleagues on the communications team!
Communications Officer/Content Specialist (m/f/x)
full-time (38 hours per week)
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will work alongside communications advisors and policy officers to develop and implement our recommendations and projects. Specifically, this involves writing, editing, and publishing (web) content; organizing (dialogue) meetings; creatively utilizing social media; and monitoring project progress. You will be involved in the use of various communication tools, such as (online) publications and video.
What do you bring to the table?
We are looking for a true all-rounder: a flexible communications specialist who can quickly switch between different topics, has knowledge of and experience with online communications, CMS systems, and social media, and has a strong command of both Dutch and English. You have at least two years of work experience as a communications officer or content specialist, are goal-oriented, and have strong organizational skills. You have the creativity to make complex topics accessible to a broad audience in surprising ways. In addition, you enjoy working in a team and with various stakeholders.
What do we offer you?
At the SER, you’ll work in an environment where you can make a meaningful social impact: close to the political arena, alongside a wide range of social stakeholders with often divergent interests. You’ll do this alongside enthusiastic, knowledgeable colleagues in an informal work atmosphere. The SER aims to be an inclusive organization that fully leverages the strength of its employees’ diversity to contribute valuable perspectives and innovative approaches to our social work. We strive to be an organization where everyone can be themselves and is given the space to grow.
