Administrative Assistant

What will you be doing? 

As a Maintenance Technician on the Engineering Team, you are responsible for our fire trucks and other equipment.

Your duties and responsibilities are

• Checks invoices and processes them administratively;  
• Handles tax and insurance matters; 
• Manages claims and oversees/supervises repair work; 
• Manages fuel, fueling systems, and fuel cards (including their issuance); 
• Takes new equipment into service and disposes of obsolete or surplus equipment; 
• Performs relevant contract management; 
• Handles the administrative tasks in the Fleet Management System; 
• Checks vehicles on site for damage, defects, and proper operation; 
• Is responsible for the interior and exterior cleaning and minor maintenance of the vehicles;
• Manages and maintains various materials

Who are you?

To excel in your work, it’s important that you have strong technical skills. You’re able to quickly and effectively identify and resolve minor technical issues. Of course, it’s also important that you’re a great colleague who’s a pleasure to work with!  

You'll recognize yourself in this  

• You have completed a vocational education program or possess a demonstrable vocational education level of work and thinking. 
• At least two years of relevant work experience. 
• Holds a Class BC(E) driver's license.  

Do you have any experience with firefighting? If so, that’s a plus!

• Salary at the maximum level of pay scale 7, ranging from €2,644 to €3,818 per month based on a 36-hour workweek.
• A 36-hour-a-week job
• A flexible spending allowance equal to 18.63% of your gross annual salary. This includes your year-end bonus and vacation pay.
• 187.2 hours of leave based on a 36-hour workweek, including 43.2 hours of overtime. May 1 and 5 are fixed days off (10.3 hours); these are included in this total.

• A generous pension plan through ABP, 70% of which is paid by us.
• Monthly health insurance premium.

The team

The Technical Team consists of a total of 12 employees who are responsible for the maintenance and management of all equipment and materials.

The Technical Team is part of the Facilities Management Department and is located at Galwin 3 in Amsterdam.
