Stichting het Park was founded in 2022 and is still in the midst of development. We are looking for an experienced (senior) marketing and communications specialist to join our team and help establish the foundation more firmly in the city and beyond.
The Park Foundation in Rotterdam manages the city’s largest green national monument. The Park, located next to the Euromast and the Maas River in the heart of the city, covers 21 hectares and was designed in 1852 by father and son Zocher. It is a beloved green space for many Rotterdam residents and serves as a venue for festivals, sunbathers, walkers, athletes, and those who enjoy both tranquility and a lively atmosphere.
The Park serves as the foundation, the backdrop, and the outdoor venue for the foundation’s program, and it is much more than just a green outdoor space. From the Park Pavilion, which will open soon, we will share the story of the Park’s past and present and offer a wide range of cultural and educational activities—from exhibitions and poetry to music and walks. Our goal is to welcome all city residents and park lovers and let them enjoy this beautiful place.
Our team of gardeners maintains the Park to the highest standards, ensuring that visitors can enjoy the woods, lawns, water features, shrubs, unique plant borders, the Old Dutch garden, the native plant garden, winding paths, bridges, and trees.
