NewBees is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator with a passion for inclusion who will develop and implement the communications strategy for our wide range of activities and services.

About NewBees:

NewBees is a social enterprise that has been working toward an inclusive world since 2016. Through NewBees Participation & Integration, we organize inclusive integration programs for more than 60 municipalities in the Netherlands, help thousands of newcomers find employment with local businesses and organizations each year, and advise employers on how to hire new talent.

NewBees INC. is our employer services division, which helps employers create a safe and inclusive workplace in the broadest sense of the term. We offer training courses and programs that require minimal time but have a significant impact, drawing on the experience of NewBees and our partners.

Your role:

As Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our communications and marketing strategy for both NewBees brands: NewBees P&I and NewBees INC. They share a common mission, but each has its own specific target audience, services, and brand promise. You will translate our mission into a strategy to promote NewBees’ brand awareness, in collaboration with management. You will also take a hands-on approach to creating annual plans and a budget, coordinating all marketing and communication activities, managing the budget, and monitoring objectives. You will partially carry out the plans and tasks yourself—such as designing, planning, and launching campaigns—and manage external partners where necessary. You are strategically strong but also enjoy hands-on work, such as posting on social media and writing copy. You also enjoy contributing ideas about the organization’s direction within the current Dutch and European context. You are a team player who thrives in a diverse, entrepreneurial organization with short lines of communication.

What we're looking for:

At least 3 years of work experience as a marketing and communications professional.
Insights into communication and marketing strategies, public relations, and data-driven approaches.
Someone who believes that diversity makes the world a better place and that we all benefit from celebrating our differences.
A strategic thinker who also enjoys taking a hands-on approach, is able to distinguish between main and secondary issues, and sets priorities independently.
Knowledge of inclusive communication and how to apply this skill in your work, both internally and externally
Qualities: approachable, proactive, self-motivated, independent, hands-on, a team player, and results-oriented.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Digital literacy, experience with design tools (such as Canva or InDesign), and an online presence (WordPress, Mailchimp, social media, etc.).
