Marketing Coordinator
for 30–37.5 hours (negotiable)
Job Description
The core of your role focuses on efficiently and effectively organizing all ongoing activities and carrying out operational tasks within the marketing team—from initiation to follow-up and implementation. In short, you will be responsible for “traffic management.” This includes managing the marketing schedule, sending out newsletters and direct mailings, and keeping the website up to date. It is your responsibility to ensure that all communications are of high quality and delivered on time. To this end, you will collaborate with producers, graphic design agencies, and the content marketer, among others. In addition, you will provide active input during marketing meetings and contribute ideas for marketing and sales campaigns. You will also serve as the point of contact for various internal and external clients.
What does a typical day look like?
You arrive and check your email. New productions will be announced tomorrow across various channels. You coordinate with the Content Marketer to verify that the materials are accurate and complete, call the printer to confirm that the posters will be delivered on time, prepare a direct mail piece, and get it ready for shipment. You’ve designed the show’s page and reviewed it with your colleagues. At the end of the afternoon, a photographer stops by to take a portrait of an artist. You meet him and show him around the theater.
