What will you be doing?

We’re seeing that business customers’ questions to Eneco are becoming increasingly complex and focused on sustainability: how can Eneco help us become energy-neutral? As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you’ll develop impactful commercial campaigns based on insights and customer needs. Think, for example, of customer retention and acquisition. From planning to content creation and performance optimization, you’ll develop the strategy, stay on top of things, and make adjustments when needed. You’ll enjoy the diversity of your work. One day you’ll be working on designing the optimal customer journey and the corresponding communication. The next day, you’ll develop content for a new customer proposition and devise a plan for how we can acquire customers through lead nurturing and an event.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing campaigns, content, and activations. You will be responsible for both the development and execution of these initiatives;
• Managing external agencies that contribute to your projects;
• Monitoring customer needs and determining which channel mix we use to meet them;
• Assisting and advising colleagues and working together on general marketing and communications activities.

What do you bring to the table?

You are goal- and results-oriented and enjoy making your progress measurable. You are a true go-getter and stay up to date on the latest developments in marketing and communications.

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in B2B
• You have proven experience in developing 360° campaigns (paid, owned, earned, shared)
• You are commercially driven and results-oriented
• You have a strong vision for the field of communication and the evolving media landscape
• You have experience with SEO and A/B testing
• You’re hands-on and pragmatic: you’re good at turning plans into action.

• A gross annual salary between €50,000 and €72,500 (annual salary includes 8% vacation pay for a full-time annual contract), depending on knowledge and experience;

You’ll work together as a single team to fulfill our mission. In doing so, you’ll take a proactive approach to help accelerate the energy transition. Within the team, you’ll report to the Marketing & Communications Team Lead. You’ll collaborate with other Marketing & Communications specialists, marketers, digital experts, and analysts. We place a strong emphasis on professional development opportunities, the atmosphere is informal, and the lines of communication are short!

At our headquarters, you’ll work in a beautiful, modern, and bright building in a highly accessible location: just a 2-minute walk from the Rotterdam-Alexander metro and train station. We operate on a hybrid model. That means you’ll work 40% in the office and 40% from home. On the remaining days, you decide where you can work best.
